Mark McLean, originally from West Virginia, holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. He has had a successful career, spending two years in the fire and life safety industry followed by a decade at a specialty contracting firm; most of that time holding the position of Vice President. Despite his thriving career, Mark and his wife decided to pursue a lifelong dream of opening a dog daycare and boarding business in Charleston.

Through sheer dedication and hard work, Mark and his wife transformed their business into a highly successful operation within two years. Following the birth of their daughter, they decided to sell the business. In the process, Mark discovered the concept of business brokerage and worked with a reputable broker who facilitated a smooth transaction and secured top dollar for their business. This experience ignited Mark’s desire to assist other business owners in achieving similar success.

Mark acquired his SC real estate license and, three months later, came across an excellent opportunity to take over the Charleston VR franchise. He is enthusiastic about providing Lowcountry business owners with the necessary tools, resources, and strategies to ensure that they receive top dollar for their businesses through a seamless transaction.
